Yom Teruah 2026-2027 is at hand ! At the sunset of september 11, on the 12^th of september.

If the celebration of the first day of the 7^th month, as per the scriptural calendar, is a Statute, a Permanent Ordinance of rest and a day of sounding the shofar according to the Word of YHVH Elohim our Creator, let us keep the day accordingly ! In the same manner as in the ancient time ??

First of all, we need to ascertain why the shofar had to be sounded in the ancient time, in the wilderness and based on the circumstances, Here are a few examples :

– A Time to gather the people, to assemble.
-- A Time to take down the tents and a Time to depart, to move on.
– A Time to mark a special day, an Appointed time, such as the Rosh chodesh (the beginning of a new month), the Shabbat, the Feast days – Numbers 10 : 10 : « And in the day of your gladness, and in your Appointed Feast, and in the beginning of your month, you shall blow the trumpets (shofar) over your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, and this will be a memorial for you before your Elohim. I YHVH is your Elohim ! ».
– A Time of warning about a danger and/or a Time to assemble the troops for battle.

Considering that the Children of Ishrael forsook YHVH their Elohim through centuries, He instructed His Servants the Prophets to tone their voice like sounding a shofar in order to catch their attention about their turning away. We read for example :

Ieshayah 58 : 1 : « Call with your throat and spare not ! Lift up your voice like a shofar and declare to My people their transgressions, and to the House of Ishrael/Yaakov their transgressions ! »

Hoshea 8 : 1 : « Put the shofar to your lips ! For one like an eagle will come against the House of YHVH because they have broken My Covenant and transgressed against My Law »

Millenia later ... Still calling them to penitently learn from the sins of their ancestors

What has changed among those who claim to be the people of YHVH Elohim, those who are used to lift up the Torah on a specific day over the course of the 7^th month to honor the Torah ? They seem to genuinely honor the Torah but do they really ? A fact : They keep teaching and learning and cleaving to their traditions, the pharisaic doctrine now into rabbinic.

This is what they should do : The Words of YHVH Elohim quoted above should be cried out throughout the Covenant Land of Ishrael at the sounding of the shofarot during this coming 7^th month of the year 2026-2027 to contritely learn from the sins of their ancestors in the wilderness and across the centuries. And further at the sounding of the shofarot in the beginning of the 7^th month, the following passage should be heard with great fear among the people of the Land, starting from Yerushalem :

Yoel 2 : 1 « Blow the shofar in Tziyon ! And give a shout on My Holy Mountain ! Let all the inhabitants in the Land tremble, for The Day of YHVH is coming, yea, It is at hand ! »

And how about you and me ? During the time of our sojourning here on earth at the time of the sounding of the shofar this scriptural year 2026-2027 while we keep seeking the Kingdom of YHVH Elohim ?

⮎ Let us remember and learn once more what YHVH Elohim our Creator, The Elohim of the Book The Bible, loves and hates ! Let His Character traits be the mirror of our daily life while walking with Him through Yehoshua HaMashiach, His Son !
⮎ Let the sound of the shofar reminds us the Covenant He once made with the Children of Ishrael at Har Sinai !
⮎ Let our daily life be like an olive tree that produces good fruit, not like the one He cursed before He entered into Yerushalem during the time of His last Pesach ! But a walking-tree flourishing sincerity, blooming honesty, genuineness, deserving the Covenant Ways of YHVH Elohim, suitable for His Covenant Promises, deserving to get prepared for the Marriage Ceremony of The Lamb, worthy for The Return of the Bridegroom, The King and The Priest, Yehoshua The Lion of the tribe of Yehudah, the Root of David, with the Last Sounding of the shofar !

May YHVH Elohim bless us so that we find Favor at His Eyes and become walking-living trees, walking-shining-menorot as depicted according to Matthew 5 : 16 : « Let your light thus shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father Who is in Heaven ! »

Psalms 150 : 1 - 6 : « HalleluYah ! Praise Elohim in His Sanctuary ! Praise Him in the firmament of His Power ! Praise Him for His Mighty Deeds ! Praise Him according to the Greatness of His Splendor ! Praise Him with the sounding of the shofar ! Praise Him with the harps and lyres ! Praise Him with tambourine and dance ! Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes ! Praise Him with clashing cymbals ! Praise Him on cymbals of joy ! Let all who have breath praise YHVH ! HalleluYah ! »

May the 1^st day of the 7^th month, the Day of sounding the shofar, blessedly lead us to the next upcoming Holy Appointed Times, and prepare us to joyfully and gratefully honor YHVH Elohim, The Living Elohim of the Book The Bible, our Creator , through Yehoshua HaMashiach !
