Bereishit (Gen.) 1 : 11-13 : « And Elohim said : Let the earth sprout vegetation and plants yielding seed, and fruit trees yielding fruit with seed upon the earth in them according to their kinds. And it was so. And the earth brought forth vegetation and herbs yielding seed according to their kinds, and trees bearing fruit with seed in them, according to their kinds. And Elohim saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning, it was the third day ».

Psalms 24 : 1 : « To YHVH is the earth and everything in it, the world and the inhabitants on it ».

Matthew 6 : 28-30 : « And why do you worry about clothing ? Observe carefully how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin, yet I say to you that not even Shelomoh in all his glory was clothed like one of these. And if the herbs of the field, which even though are there today and be thrown into the furnace tomorrow are so clothed by Elohim, how much more you are little of faith ? ».

If YHVH Elohim clothed them more than the lilies of the field, and still does so to us today, are we not also concerned about these Words of Yehoshua HaMashiah according to Matthyahu 5 : 47b when He said : « What are you doing more than others ? » ?

In Matthyahu 5, He used the word « Blessed » nine times, which could be interpreted as being favored, acknowledged, and the same word is used seven times in the Book of Revelation, but surely not in the same sensitivity. But of course it could be read many times throughout the entire Book of The Bible. Under these accounts, the character of someone with a characteristic of « Doing more than others » could be defined under this word « Blessed ».

So, when He said « What are you doing more than others ? », this question should mainly lead us to uncover, to identify if there are within us negative or wrong thoughts, erroneous perceptions and improper behaviors in our spiritual ways, so that these Words of His do not put us under this already-judged category of people, when He stated : « And the household of the man is his own enemy », but rather let us challenge our character and say to ourselves : How much more I should not ! This would favor us and cause us to glorify The Creator, The Father in Heaven.

The following are scriptures-based questions we need to answer in order to build a peaceful house and live a blessed life :

► « Do you hate your brother in your heart ? »

► « Are/were you angry with your brother ? ».

► « Do/did you rise up against the one who does evil to you ? ».

► « Do you have an enemy and do you hate your enemy ? »

► « Do you forgive people their wrongs ? »

► « Did you ever let the sun set upon your anger ? » 

► « Did you ever try, truly try, to remove from you all kind of bitterness, all kind of grudges, all kind of rage, all kind of anger, all kind of murmure, all kind of slander, all kind of malice, ...  ? »

► « Did you ever think what is to have a pure in heart ? »

Why our/your challenge would be worth of taking on ? Here this is why, according to the Words of Yehoshua HaMashiach Himself, saying : « So that you may be Sons of your Father Who is in Heaven. For He makes His sun rise on the evil ones and on the good ones, and let rain fall on the righteous ones and on the unrighteous ones » - Matthyahu 5 : 45. Moving on ...

To be a « Keeper of his brother » is somehow a duty, a role to be played in view of doing more than others

And contrary to what Chayin said, when he haughtily replied to YHVH Elohim : « And he said : I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper ? », according to Bereishit (Gen.) 4 : 9b, it would surely and greatly please YHVH Elohim « If we keep our brother », and that way we deserve to be called « Sons of The Father in Heaven ».

But what is to be a Keeper of his brother ? The following are examples of a challenge and how to be a scriptures-based Keeper :

Leviticus 19 : 17b : « You may most certainly admonish your neighbor, so that you do not incur sins on account of him ».

Echezkel 33 : 9 : « But if you do warn the wicked ones to turn from their evil ways, but they refuse to turn from them, then they will surely die of their sins, but you have saved your life ».

Acts 8 : 30-31a : « And Philip ran to him and heard him reading from Ieshayah HaNavi, and said to him : Do you understand what you are reading ? But he said : How can I understand unless someone instructs me ? ».

To a certain extent, yes a « Keeper, but an authentic keeper » is required in order to bear good fruit :

Matthyahu 7 : 16b-18 : « Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles ? Likewise every good tree bear good fruit, but every bad tree bear bad fruit. The good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and the bad tree cannot bear good fruit ».

1 Corinthians 10 : 24 : « Let no one seek the good of himself, but the good of the other ». Moving on ...

And the result would be, according to Proverbs 25 : 12 : « An ear-ring of gold and an ornament of fine gold is the wise reprover to attentive ears ! ».

And even more, being Witnesses of Him would be «To do more than others ». How ?

Not only to be obedient to His Voice, through His Instructions, to The Words He has commanded to do through His Servants the Prophets, and especially through The Foretold Prophet, His Anointed One, The Sent One, His Beloved Son Yehoshua Ben HaElohim, Who spoke His Words, but also to be Witnesses in whatever we do, we speak, we think, we listen to, we eat, we wear on, and particularly through our characters. 

1 Corinthians 10 : 31 : « So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all to the Glory of YHVH Elohim ». In other words, set your body apart, from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, practically we should be the salt of the earth, the light of the world.

What then ? Take to heart !

► Doing His Commandments alone is far from being enough.

► Having good characters, or doing good things towards the others, all these things are also far from being enough.

► What then ? If the first cannot be separated from the second, the first should go along with the second, and inversely, and that way alone we make His Declaration True.

When He was tested by the evil pharisees on His day, He firmly declared, according to Matthyahu 22 : 36-40, as being The Teacher of the Torah Himself : « Teacher, which Commandment is the Greatest in the Torah ? And Yehoshua said to them : Love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the Great and First Commandment. And the Second which is like it, is : Love your neighbor as yourself. On these two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets ». Through these Words, He made it clear and confirmed what He proclaimed earlier during His Teachings on the mount, when He said: « Do not think that I have come to destroy the Torah and the Prophets ».

And He even added the following to make it understood by His audience that the pharisees and the writers of the Torah are not teaching the written Torah of Moses : « For I say to you : Unless your righteousness (This is through the Torah) does not exceed that of the scribes and the pharisees, then you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven »

In the same way or advising, He warned His Disciples, saying : « Take heed and beware, lest the leaven of the pharisees and the sadducees ensnare you ! ».

When YHVH Elohim, The Creator, declared, according to Yirmeyah 31 : 35, concerning the order of the sun and the moon and the stars, does not the sun still rule over the day, and the moon and the stars do not they still rule over the night, after He created them almost 5900 years ago ? It is written : « Thus says YHVH, Who gives the sun for light by day and the order of the moon and the stars for light by night ».

At the time you read this study, how old are you today, 30, 40, 50, 60 and more ? Have these orders ever changed before you ? Of course not ! So has YHVH Elohim Who has no age and Who made them.

So, « Being clothed more than the lilies of the field » but spiritually, let us review and reconsider our spiritual ways through these Words : « What are you doing more than others ? », and make decisive steps, such as :

► To beware of the leaven of the modern pharisees, the rabbis, to beware of the rabbinic judaism ;

► To repent and to turn from the time of deception, the time of rejecting The Covenant Voice of YHVH Elohim through His Anointed and Sent One to Ishrael, His Beloved Son, Yehoshua Ben HaElohim, to avoid punitive disasters ;

► Not to keep thinking that The New Covenant of YHVH Elohim, Elohei Ishrael, through The Redemptive Work of Yehoshua HaMashiach by His shed Blood, and based on His Torah written upon the heart of flesh and in the mind, has been falsely replaced by a so-called « new testament love-based spiritual way », a wrongfuly and deceptively term leading to abolish The Plan of Salvation through the New Covenant used by the evil one ;

►To take to heart that YHVH Elohim, Elohei Ishrael, through the Prophets His Servants, repeatedly called His people to repentance in order to prevent punishment, judgment. And even more His Calls for « teshuvah » still stands alive today, through His Anointed and Sent One to Ishrael, The Foretold and The Great Prophet, Yehoshua Ben HaElohim. And the people who use The Bible as their way of spiritual comfort do not escape from His Words.

A true repentance would reverse any destructive consequences caused by rebellious actions. Do not let them get irreversible !

Do you have ears to years, let them hear ! And may His Plan through the House of Yaakov/Ishrael bless you !

May this generational Word of YHVH Elohim, Elohei Ishrael, through His Servant Yoel HaNavi, according to Yoel 1 : 3 be considered and taken to heart !

« Tell it to your children, and let your children tell in their turn to their children, and their children to the generation after them ! ».
